The secret to the details is the "inking finish"

The key to achieving realistic details is the inking finish.
A layer of ink called sumi is applied to the surface and then wiped off one by one with a cloth, leaving shading in the uneven areas.
The ink remains in the gaps, clearly showing the light and dark areas of the mold, adding depth to the instrument motif.
Because each piece is handmade by a craftsman, there will be individual differences in how the ink remains, but this is also the unique feature of handmade products.
